Importing Email from Outlook Express to Exchange

Follow the seven steps below to import your e-mail and address book from Outlook Express to Exchange.

  1. Logon to your Outlook Exchange account.

  2. Click on File and then Import and Export.

  3. The Import and Export Wizard will open up.

  4. Choose Import Internet Mail and Addresses then click Next.
  1. Choose Outlook Express 4.X, 5. Then make sure to check off both boxes for Import Mail and Import Address book. Then click Next.

  2. Under Select the destination for imported addresses check Outlook Contacts Folder. Under Options choose the option that best suits your needs then click Finish.

  3. You should see the information being imported. You will now get an Import Summary box indicating how many messages and addresses were imported.
