Installing Palm Desktop Software

If you would like to sync your Palm-based PDA with your Exchange account, please ensure that you first install the following software

• Microsoft Outlook
• Palm Desktop

Once you have downloaded the Palm Desktop software, follow these instructions to install it.

1. Locate the installation file you downloaded and double-click it.
2. Click Next to accept the default installation folder.



3. Click Next.



4. Click Next.



5. Read the Software License Agreement, and if you agree to the terms, select I accept these terms, then click Next.
6. Choose Recommended, click Next.



7. Type a name for your PDA, then click Create Username to continue.



8. Type your first initial and last name, then click Next.



9. Select your PDA connection type (USB or Serial), then click Next (if you are unsure, check your product documentation).



10. Click Install to begin installing.



11. Click Next.



12. Click Finish.

    

You have successfully installed the Palm Desktop software.
