Installing Intellisync

In order to sync your Palm-based PDA with Exchange you must first install Outlook, Palm Desktop, and a third party program like Intellisync.

You may purchase Intellisync by contacting, Kathy Desmarais (860) 486-1781.

After purchasing Intellisync, follow these instructions to install it.

  1. Place the Intellisync CD in your CD-Rom drive.
  2. Open My Computer, double-click your CD drive, then double-click Setup.exe.
  3. Click Next.

  4. Type in your name, University of Connecticut as organization, and the license key provided upon purchase of the software.

  5. Click Yes if you agree to the license agreement.

  6. Click Next to accept the default installation folder.

  7. When prompted for setup type, select Typical by clicking on the radio button, then click, Next.

  8. Click Finish.

  9. Remove the installation disk from the CD-Rom.

Intellisync is now installed.
