Support of Smartphones & Mobile Devices

 

General Information

The University of Connecticut's central email/calendaring services are hosted on Microsoft Exchange 2007. If you own a Smartphone or PDA you may be able to synchronize University calendar, contacts, and e-mail with your mobile device. Devices that integrate with Microsoft's ActiveSync technology or University-purchased Blackberry smartphones can generally synchronize email, calendars, and contacts.

University Email Settings

Additionally, email-only devices that integrate with the standard IMAP email protocol, may be configured to access University email. Configuration of these devices should be handled through the respective device vendor and utilize the standard University settings listed below.

Username/User ID Your University NetID login (ie: net01234)
Password Your University NetID password
Email / IMAP Server exchange.uconn.edu
Domain (if needed) uconn
SMTP Server smtp.uconn.edu
Use SSL checked / enabled
Incoming Server Port 993
