Spam E-mail Rules
Setting up rules in Outlook 2003/2007:
- Open Outlook.
- Click on Tools, then click on Rules and Alerts.
- Click on New Rule.
- Click on Start from a blank rule, then select Check messages when they arrive.
- Click on Next.
- Click on with specific words in the subject in the upper screen.
- In the lower screen, click on specific words.
- In the text field type in {SPAM?}, then click on Add.
- In the text field type in {VIRUS?}, then click on Add.
- Click on OK. Then click on Next.
- Click on move it to the specified folder in the upper screen.
- Click on specified in the lower window.
- Browse to the folder you want to move the messages to (ex. Junk), then click OK.
- Click Next. Click Next.
- Click Run this rule now on messages already in Inbox.
- Click Finish. Click OK.
