Set up multiple profiles in Outlook 2003

You can use Outlook profiles to allow multiple users to share one pc and still have maximum functionality and security.

Follow the steps below to add profiles to Outlook 2003.

  1. Click the Start menu, click Settings then Control Panel.
  2. Double-Click the Mail icon.
  3. Select Show Profiles.

  5. Click Add.
  6. Name your new profile then click OK.

  8. Click once on Add a new e-mail account, then click Next

  10. Choose Microsoft Exchange Server, then click Next

  11. For Microsoft Exchange Server, enter exchangea, be sure to check Use Cached Exchange Mode. The User Name will be your NetID i.e. abc00301. Click Check Name. If it asks, Enter Username: NetID, Domain: uconn, Password: exchange password.

  12. Click Next.
  13. Click Finish.

Outlook 2003 is now setup with multiple profiles.

Note: If you would like to select who to log on as each time you start Outlook, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Start menu, click Settings then Control Panel.
  2. Double-Click the Mail icon.
  3. Select Show Profiles.
  4. Click Prompt for a profile to be used.
  5. Click OK.
