How do I Setup Microsoft Entourage 2008 for Exchange?

 

Follow the steps below to use Entourage 2008 on Uconn's Exchange Server. If Setup Assistant comes up, cancel and configure with instructions below:

Go to the Entourage menu and select Tools, then Account command.

Click the New button and a second screen will appear. Type in your UConn email address and check my account is on an Exchange Server. Click Configure My Account Manually

In the Edit Account - Account Settings section enter the following information:

Account Name

UConn Exchange

Name

Your Full Name

E-mail address

first.last@uconn.edu
Account ID

Enter your NetID
Domain uconn
Exchange Server exchange.uconn.edu

This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)

Switch to the Advanced tab and enter the following information:

Public folders server

exchange.uconn.edu

This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)

checked

LDAP server

grove.ad.uconn.edu

This server requires me to log on

checked

Search base

dc=grove,dc=ad,
dc=uconn,dc=edu
