Setting up Apple Mail v3 on Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard)
Configuration for UConn's Central Email Server
Go to the Mail menu and select the Preferences command. |

Select the Accounts section from the top row, then click the + / plus sign at the bottom left of the corner to begin account configuration. |

In the Add Account section enter the following information, then click Continue:

In the Incoming Mail Server section enter the following information, then click Continue.

In the Outgoing Mail Server section enter the following information, then click Continue.

In the Account Summary section you should see the following. If correct, then click Create. If incorrect, click Go Back and correct.

| At the main Accounts section choose Composing. Under the Addressing section, make sure automatically complete addesses is checked. Choose Configure LDAP. | |||||||||||||||||
Click the "+" button in the lower-left corner, and enter the following information:

Close the Preferences window and check to ensure that your Exchange account folders show up in the drawer to the left or right of the Mail's main message viewer.
