Find Mailbox Size : Outlook 2003/2007

This is an easy process and you can find out individual sizes of your sub folders or your entire mailbox size by following the instructions below.

1. Open Outlook.
2. Right-click on your name in the folder list .



3. Click on Properties for Mailbox from the list of options.
4. Click on Folder Size.



5. A new window will pop-up listing the folders in your mailbox and 2 sizes, the important one is Total Size. Total size tells you how much space each folder in your mailbox is using.

• Typical folders that will be very large are Deleted Items, Inbox, and Sent Items.
• You will want to delete any messages that you no longer need.
• Any messages that you do not want to delete you should move to a Personal Folder to archive it.
